Idyllic Location
Old Barn Cottages are located in Great Sturton, a tiny hamlet on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds – a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This part of the country is still one of the quietest and least-spoiled parts of rural England. The cottages are not far from Horncastle (five miles) – a picturesque Georgian market town famed as the antiques centre of Lincolnshire.
Historic Towns
Small historic towns are scattered throughout the area. Many are village-like in atmosphere but on market days they spring to life, drawing in people from the surrounding countryside as they have done for centuries.
